Mr. Dickens joined the firm in 2003 and became a shareholder in 2010. His practice focuses on commercial real estate, residential real estate, and environmental law, representing clients in a wide array of commercial lending and real estate transactions, including shopping center, apartment and office building development, agricultural and recreational properties, and commercial and residential leasing. In connection with these matters, Mr. Dickens routinely prepares, reviews and negotiates various forms of legal documentation, including loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and leases.

Mr. Dickens also has experience in title examination and title insurance, the facilitation of tax-free exchanges of real estate, and small business administration loans. Mr. Dickens obtained his undergraduate degree in finance from Auburn University and his juris doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Mr. Dickens has been named as a Rising Star (Real Estate) in the 2016 and 2017 editions of Mid-South Super Lawyers.

Community Involvement

Mr. Dickens is a member of First United Methodist Church, and recently served a six year term as a member of the board of directors of Saint James School.
